And the (Projected) Winner Is....

Bevin!! My good friend Bevin predicted that our baby would be born on October 30th at 4:16 p.m. and it looks like she's gonna be right (even pretty close on the time!). It was looking like Grandma Lainey was going to win on the date as we thought the surgery would be scheduled for next week sometime (and she had predicted the 26th), but apparently the OR books up pretty fast and we got pushed back a bit. Our c-section is scheduled for the 30th at 1:00. Given that hospitals are kinda like airports in that they frequently seem to run behind, there is a distinct possibility that the time could be closer to 4:16 than 1:00, but you never know :).

We are happy to have a solid date to wrap our heads around and prepare for now, though I was kinda looking forward to becoming a mommy (and stopping work) next week. I think I'll be able to hold on for a few more days though.

Hopefully baby is okay with this new plan that is set and doesn't get any ideas of it's own to make the date any earlier. If we have to go with a c-section we'd rather it be planned than an emergency ... . We're prepared for whatever life decides to throw at us though! At least that's what we're going to keep telling ourselves :). Unpredictability is the name of the game with kids right?! We are no longer in charge here :).
