Merrill has been camped out in front of the fireplace pretty much since we got home Monday afternoon. Whether it's been reading books with either Scott or me, playing on the kindle or sleeping, this has been her preferred place. Her cold spawned a sinus infection, which made her feel pretty cruddy yesterday (cruddy enough to fall asleep in front of the fire for most of the afternoon!). She's got a full day of antibiotics in her now, her fever broke last night, and she's singing and dancing around the house -- I think she's on the mend. It will be back to school for her tomorrow!
