Sleepy girls Sunday morning. All up at 6 even after a late night!
Cardboard boat race -- we gathered that the key to a successful boat is LOTS of duct tape and paint to water-proof the boat!
this yellow one turned out to be the winner -- amazingly, this was it's third year in the race (you can see the stars and stripes design from a previous year ...)
This boat did not make it through the course in one piece, but all of the kids were good sports and no one gave up -- they all swam and dragged their boats across the finish line if their boats fell apart.

and then there was this guy (the MC for the boat races who then entertained the crowd while votes were tallied)
After all that the girls and Scott went for a swim in the lake. Millie was determined to jump off the dock!
