Interview with a Four-year-old

Merrill's first words when she woke up this morning were: "I'm four today!"  And then she asked when her birthday was going to start at breakfast.  She was a little confused and thought that her birthday day meant more celebrating :).  It was a quiet day, but she did get to go out to dinner with Scott.  I think she's going to like being four.

• What is your favorite stuffed animal?  Little bear with a bow on it
• What is your favorite thing to sleep with?  Bitty Baby
• What is your favorite fruit?  Melon
• What is your favorite cereal?  St. Patrick's Day cereal (oatmeal turned green by the Leprechauns)
• What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?  toast and cereal
• What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch?  Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
• What is your favorite dessert?  Every dessert
• What is your favorite drink?  Chocolate [almond] milk and water
• What do you want to eat for your birthday dinner?  Grilled cheese
• What is your favorite animal?  baby giraffe
• What is your favorite book?  Cinnamon Bear
• What is your favorite song?  Pinocchio ["I've Got No Strings"]
• What is your favorite game?   Candy Land
• What is your favorite t.v. show?  Peep and the Big Wide World
• What is your favorite movie?  Mary Poppins
• What is your favorite thing to do outside?  Swim
• Who is your best friend?  Malia and Lilly
• What do you want to be when you grow up?  A princess ballerina

Well, I just looked back and realized this is a different set of 20 questions than the ones I used last year.  There was quite a bit of overlap, but a few were different.  So, here are the answers to the ones that were on last years list, but not above:

• What is your favorite outfit?  My fairy costume (that she will be wearing for her birthday)
• What is your favorite snack?  Hot chocolate and graham crackers 
• What is your favorite holiday?  Christmas
