Chicago: Goodbye Until Next Time

Monday morning we got up, got ready for our day, and re-packed all of our belongings while the kids put Tavi's room back together (with relatively little fussing thanks to Bob's supervision).  As always, it was a wonderful trip.  I cannot say enough about the value of having good friends.  Friends that you don't have to see or talk to on a daily basis to know that you are friends.  Friends that you can spend a perfectly happy weekend with even without any set plans.  These trips are always just so easy and comfortable that by the end we all decide that we could actually probably live together and joke about running away and starting a commune somewhere :).  I am so thankful that the girls and Tavi get along so well and have so much fun together too.  It's tough for Tavi to have constant companions for that many days in a row since he's an only child and used to his own space, but he does very well with it all.  I think we are all already looking forward to our next visit.  So, goodbye until next time, Chicago!
