{Apples}

Well, the past Sunday the calendar said it was fall, but the temperatures said it was still late summer.  Seems like we always pick the 90 degree days of September to go apple picking (except the first year we were here -- it was cold that year!).  I think, though, after 5 years, we have finally learned that MID-October is actually when we want to go -- both for the variety of apple available and the fall-like weather.  We might be slow learners ;).  Despite the warm weather, we had a great time picking apples again this year.  Teddy was really old enough to enjoy both the picking and the rides afterwards (as well as the tractor ride!) and the girls always enjoy going.  Millie is already talking about the apple pie she is going to make.  And now for too many pictures :).

and he was out.  

So glad we get to do this with family every year and make this a lasting tradition :)
